Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is an Hollywood actor and writer whose talent has earned her recognition as well as critical praise. She's the daughter of a Sagittarius born on December 3, 1960 in North Carolina. She is one of the three oldest children to Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. The Moore family is English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. In the course of her father's employment, the Moore family was often moved and she was unable to form friendships or maintain ones. Moore was able to start acting in plays after she relocated with her family members to Germany. Following the completion of her B.F.A. in Theater at Boston University in 1983, Moore continued to seek further studies. in Theater. Moore, who graduated from college with honors in New York and started her profession as an off-Broadway actor following her move to New York. Moore first appeared on an episode of The Edge of Night, which aired on television in 1985. The episode aired in 1986. she played the dual characters that were Sabrina Hughes (Frannnie) and Frannie Hughes (Sabrina Hughes). It was her first major breakthrough. She stayed on this show from 1988 to 1990 and received the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made her debut in cinema in the form of Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), and 3 Women, also productions by Altman (1997) were among her films. Her performance in the critically-acclaimed short-cuts (1993) was rewarded with several nominations. Moore was the first actress to get a major role in Safe which was a film from 1995. Steven Spielberg, who was director for Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997 and one of the highest grossing films, had Moore cast as a lead actor. She was awarded an SAG nomination in 1999 for the part she was in Magnolia, a critically acclaimed film. In 2002 she co-starred in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Moore was also featured in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. Non-Stop was a film in which that she starred in, was released. Moore was a regular on many TV and film series. Most recently, she starred as the lead in When You Finish Saving The World (2022). In her role as a Hollywood child's writer and actress her career is well-established. In 2007, she published Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became a N.Y.T. The best-selling book was made into a film, a series and even a musical. The book she wrote in 2013 titled My Mom is A Foreigner was also a best-seller. Moore's personal life has been made public as a highly accomplished author and actor. She split from John Robin in 1995. They have two children together along with Bart Freundlich whom she later was married to in 2003. Moore's job, her friends and family are the most important things in her life.
